Lets get casual: an Update on my Fitness Routine

Fitness Routine Update featured by popular Denver life and style blogger, Delayna Denaye
Hey Babes!! How are we all doing??!! I hope you are all well!! I wanted to check in with you all with how my fitness routine is coming!!

An Update on my Fitness Routine:

Maybe I should say the lack there of.... oops. Life is really busy always. I need to get better about making working out a priority and making time for myself. I put everyone and everything else before me.

Right now I am lucky if I get fitness 3 times a week. I do walk a lot while at work, but I don't include that as a work out.

I am looking for a workout partner that will go early with me at like 4 or 5 am so I can go and get it done before my day starts and before work and then I will feel way more accomplished!!

I have not ever been big on trainers at gyms, the only type of trainers I have ever liked were the ones I had when I was wanting to compete in a bikini competition.  I had competition trainers that were the best! They worked out with me and pushed me every single day! They also told me what I could eat! This is really what I need in my life!! Someone to hold me accountable for my actions in the gym as well as with food!!

I unfortunately can't use those trainers any more, because they are good friends with my ex husband. I left all of that life behind, and gave up competing. That was something I did with my ex and I knew if I continued I would constantly see him and the person he is with. I wanted to avoid that at all cost so, moved south and found new hobbies and a new gym.

I dated a few people before meeting my current bae and he and I never shared a love for the gym like any of the other people I dated. He was and is different. He is a basketball player, and works out, but entirely different to what I am used to. I love working out with someone meaning the same exercises together, not just in the gym together. Bae likes to go to the gym together but not work out with me, so I get super unmotivated.

Have any of you ever been to a new gym and feel so lost and not know where anything is, so want to either crawl into a ball or leave... or pick a piece of cardio equipment to spend all of your time on??? Well that is me... I upgraded my membership at 24 hour to the super sport so I could go to his gym, and I don't know where anything is, and spend most of my time trying to build a fitness routine or flow off of the equipment I recognize that I end up getting frustrated and become over it.

I used to know the last 3 gyms so well, I wasn't ever intimidated, and if there were a million people in the gym, I knew where to go while I was waiting for machines... not at his gym.

I have since let my membership go and I work out in our home gym.

I am trying to find a gym I enjoy going to and find a person that is motivating and willing to work out at the same time daily with me!!

Do any of you have these same struggles? How is your fitness routine going? I would love to hear? Any suggestions?
